My name is Joseph Carolan.I have achieved a 2.2 Honours B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry and a B.A in Art and Design. I have a great interest in both fields however I wish to build a career in the area of analytical science.

Laboratory Technician @ I am working as a Laboratory technician in ALT (Advanced Laboratory Techniques) in Newbridge. Duties include ELISA, sample preparation, making up standards, running calibrations, stocktaking and using a LIMS to print of projects and report results From September 2014 to Present (1 year 4 months) QC Assistant @ Duties include Document control, Validating procedures ,Metal detection, Calibration of (Balance and Thermometers), Sampling, Raw material inspection, Assisting in training, Rag Rating and Hygiene matrix. From October 2013 to June 2014 (9 months) Chef Assistant @ Port House Tapes and Wine’ 47 South William Street, Dublin 2 has fine Spanish Food and wine restaurant. Some of the duties as a chef assistant include Deliveries, Stock rotation. Food preparation, Clean in place, Salad preparation and Cooking. From August 2010 to September 2012 (2 years 2 months)
