Technical Services @ Mathematics Instructor @ Hired as an instructor for F4ED, an after school program that works to teach math to K-8 grade students. Worked mainly with five students, four 4th Graders and one 2nd grader, teaching them the rough equivalent of 4th grade math. Planned weekly lesson plans in preparation for each session. Kept in constant communication with the parents to address any concerns and inform them of their children’s behavior and progress. From September 2010 to December 2010 (4 months) Mathematics Tutor @ Hired as a tutor for the Math 20 series at Stanford University, three classes that make up first year Calculus. Helped an average of about 10 students per session, though the number at times rose to above 20. Often worked with students outside of sessions, and did my best to provide extra tutoring sessions when midterms and final exams approached. From January 2010 to December 2010 (1 year) Student Special Events Patrol @ Aided the Stanford University Police Department in various capacities, including as a security guard for several student parties and sports events, traffic guard, and projects at the station. Worked up to 11 hours in a day, and through late night hours, though four-hour blocks during early mornings was more common. From December 2008 to May 2010 (1 year 6 months)
