John began his career in records management working for the Delaware County Courthouse as the Records & Archives Facility Manager in 1986. John left the public sector and began working for outsourcing companies in 1997. John served as the technology strategist integrating imaging into law firms and financial institutions while also managing office services for several law firms.
John has also been very active in his community, serving as a school director for seven years and as chairman of the school district's technology committee. John served on the board of his local library and was president for two years. He has also served on numerous local, county and state boards and commissions since 1987.
John has received many awards throughout his professional career including All-Star Employee Award, Leadership Team Designation, several Website Design Awards, and was chosen as ARMA Liberty Bell Chapter Member of the year in 2008.

Managed office services for a large center city law firm, with responsibilities for offices in Princeton, NJ, Harrisburg, PA, Palo Alto, San Francisco and Newport Beach, CA. Responsibilities included billing for each office, machine upgrades and maintenance, staffing, (for Philadelphia and Princeton office), mail, copy, and fax services. Managed twelve employees in the Philadelphia office and three at the Princeton office. Also served as technology advisor for Pitney Bowes local accounts and PBMS on the east coast. Served on the design team for the PBMS Business Practice Standards Web site. PBMS 21st Century Stock Option Award recipient and 2001 All-Star manager.

Provided digital imaging services, scanning to several formats, indexing and archiving to CD. Also designed and implemented imaging services for several departments. Responsible for maintaining the Pitney Bowes on-site network and webpage. Designed and presented digital training classes for all on-site personnel. Designed and presented focus group presentations for the client. Installed NT network and sub-net supporting NT, Windows 98, and Mac Operating Systems. Created a Y2K contingency plan for operations in Pennsylvania, Arizona and North Carolina. Developed policies and procedures for all on-site services. Managed and edited the PBMS company newsletter.
