He is currently completing his MBA at the University of Limerick.
He has an in depth knowledge of multiple digital platforms and utilized many of these to launch products, announce news, build awareness for business, products & services, as well as creating relationships within specified sectors. He has excellent interpersonal skills and has the ability to develop relationships with key opinion leaders and interface with CEOs of major corporations.
Sales and Marketing Manager @ John is responsible for developing strategy, business growth, and developing relationships with potential clients. His role involves the development of annual sales strategies for TouchStore and successful use of Salesforce in the company. This includes setting sales goals and determining which products the company emphasizes based on ease of sale or profit margin. John also manages the development of TouchStore’s marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives and ensure all personnel and functions of the company are targeted towards customer satisfaction and growing the company. From October 2015 to Present (2 months) Marketing Manager @ I manage the development of TouchStore’s marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives and ensure all personnel and functions of the company are targeted towards customer satisfaction and growing the company. I am responsible for promoting and positioning the company products and service portfolio in consultation with the CEO, sales team and development team.
I also manage all external communications of TouchStore including email blasts, press releases, advertising and social media. From March 2013 to October 2015 (2 years 8 months) Marketing and Communications Manager @ At the Irish Technology Leadership Group I focused on event management, creating sponsorship packages, promotional marketing, social media interface and management, co-ordination of publications, and website traffic growth. I also managed all outgoing design material including email marketing and event promotion for all ITLG events.
Among my achievements while working for the Irish Technology Leadership Group include:
• The promotion and execution of the Innovation Summit event in Silicon Valley featured on Bloomberg West, which has a viewership of 70 million.
• Co-editor and contributor to three Silicon Valley 50 magazines.
• Successful dialog with high level executes from large multinational companies including Apple, Cisco and Microsoft in gaining their contribution for the Silicon Valley 50 magazine.
• Instigated Social Media Day for the city of San Jose and presented the promotional video for this event. From January 2011 to March 2013 (2 years 3 months) Marketing and Communications Manager @ I operate as a Program Manager with responsibility for Marketing & Communications. At the IIC I focus primarily on event management, promotional marketing, social media interface and management, co-ordination of publications, membership expansion and web site traffic growth. I also share responsibility for all ITLG related Marketing & Communications Activity. From January 2011 to February 2013 (2 years 2 months) Marketing Executive @ My role involved the preparation and development of advertising campaigns & seminars on the use and applications of Touchstore products. I appraised the product offering and was significantly involved in a redesign of the main Touchstore products. On the back of these redesigns this company has attracted a major investor and has achieved exponential growth over the last 12 months.
I had an integral role in the initial implementation of the products in new sites. In this regard my main role is to ensure that new users become fully operational with the products and to deal with feedback from these customers. From June 2010 to January 2011 (8 months) Sales Executive @ While at University I worked part time at Vista Marketing. Here I played vital roles in brand development, web site traffic growth and gaining advertising revenue. From September 2009 to March 2010 (7 months) Professional Indemnity Underwriting Assistant & Complience @ I completed my internship with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group in London. During this year I worked as an underwriting assistant for the professional indemnity team and in compliance. Here I focused on compliance of financial regulations set out by the Lloyd’s of London governing body. Other roles included sales strategy development.
