Green has led Total Quality Management transformations for four organizations, from start to finish to; establish an organization in the Latin-American market, integrate a three way merger, recover from bankruptcy and create shareholder value for a venture capitalist start-up. These efforts were successfully accomplished by working closely with executive management as well as front line employees by building bridges for change. Green is recognized internationally as creating an environment for change by developing staff and driving the vision for change, using the most appropriate process improvement methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, ISO, Agile, PDCA and others. He ensures business impact through clarity of execution, portfolio leadership, communication and sustainability throughout any transformation. His abilities include direction setting, delivering business benefits and cultural change. He is also recognized as making an outstanding individual contribution to the advancement of process excellence through his contribution of knowledge, effort and time. He as published several articles and authored “A Guide to Lean Healthcare Workflows.” In addition, He continues to provide mega-healthcare organizations with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to transform clinical processes in order to fully take advantage of newly purchased automation and technology. Green has taught more than 1,500 Lean Six Sigma modules and has certified 200+ Green Belts, Black Belts and Master Black Belts.

Vice President, Applied Quality @ Green has led a systematic approach to implementing a TQM (Total Quality Management) Program. ISO 9001 serves as the foundation of Phytel’s quest for excellence relying on Lean-six Sigma (L6S) methodology as the approach to continual improvement. He has ensured employee continual “buy-in” to the quality initiative by empowering them via a complete understanding of how their job function impacts internal customers, clients and patients. Each identified primary area of Phytel’s seven core value streams has been implemented as documented processes and are measured to ensure that they are working in the most efficient and effective manner. Overall, these ingredients have successfully advanced the culture of excellence at Phytel and will ensure sustainable growth moving forward. Green implemented a program to train Phytel’s clients in L6S and change management to help them change their workflows in order to fully take advantage of their new technology. This approach has had an extreme impact on internal L6S a training by combining our customers with our internal employees during the training. The feedback received from our clients during the training has driven changes in product development, how we service our customers, and improved the relationships between our client facing teams and their client points of contact. Green has maintained an open door policy to guide employees and serves as mentor for projects that have transformed the way Phytel does business. Responsible for designing and the execution of the Quality Management Program, This included ensuring that the continuum of “tools” necessary to enable all members of the organization to achieve results in the pursuit of excellence were in place. In this role, he served as the deployment leader for Phytel's Quality Management System which led to his promotion as Vice President of Applied Quality. From February 2011 to July 2013 (2 years 6 months) Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt @ Green was accountable for the design and deployment of the TQM system across the enterprise. Developed and deployed L6S training across the company and led key cross functional projects in various areas such as logistics and distribution, sales, marketing, and design and delivery. He also managed a portfolio of over 95 projects, mentoring, coaching and leading transformational change across the enterprise. Selected in 2011 as runner up for the "Best Start Up Business Process Excellence Program (Under 2 Years) " in the world by the International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC). From July 2009 to February 2011 (1 year 8 months) Process Architect / Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt @ Green, working for the Corporate Sr. VP of Business Transformation, designed and deployed a TQM system across the enterprise to align three mega companies together in a merger. Built bridges across functional groups to ensure a one company feel and look for customers, and led the integration of products across the merger through design and process change. Led the design and deployment for L6S training across the enterprise as a way to change the culture up and down the organizational hierarchy. From August 2007 to July 2009 (2 years) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt & Master Black Belt @ Green led the design and deployment of L6S and TQM start-up across the Latin American Division, helping the GM take the organization from being a low revenue generator to $5 billion in revenue. Worked closely with the GM and CFO on identifying areas for improvement and then leading change management through sales and marking, logistics, reverse logistics, and manufacturing. He was promoted to the most senior L6S Master Black Belt position in North America leading training, deployment and the project portfolio. Led enterprise wide projects in reverse logistics, manufacturing and client care, including a $450 million hard dollars project (BOM to ROM), while mentoring and coaching project managers for a portfolio of 25+ projects across the organization. From June 1999 to August 2007 (8 years 3 months) Sr. Manager Market Research @ Designed and implemented a market research organization, capable of producing studies and projects of the highest quality completed as efficiently and economically as possible. Developed and carefully maintained open architecture databases with the ability to analyze information from many factors. From November 1996 to June 1999 (2 years 8 months) Manager of Market Research @ Created a new market research and analysis organization using Malcolm Baldrige criteria. Provided management with quantified information needed to make strategic decisions. Within this function, my responsibility was to devise methods and procedures for obtaining the data needed, performing studies, and preparing reports on the results of the research.
