Jeff Kunowski graduated from Arizona State University in 2011 with a Business Degree as well as a W.P. Carey International Business Certificate. He was the recipient of several notable scholarships including the ASU Presidents Scholarship, The Crown Innovator Scholarship, and a member of the Rodel Scholars Program. While attending school full time, Kunowski took part in 12 internships at various businesses and organizations in Phoenix, including: The Phoenix Suns, The Department of Justice: US Attorneys Office, Clear Channel Outdoor/Ellman Co., Karl Eller Design, Venture51, and numerous commercial and residential real estate companies. While studying at ASU, Kunowski founded Illumin8 Outdoor Media, a signage company utilizing LED lighting to create innovative advertising and directional signage platforms. In 2010, Illumin8 was the recipient of a prestigious ASU Edson grant and was awarded $10,000 as well as office space and mentorship at ASU's Skysong facility. After further product development, Kunowski approached his network with his products and the Phoenix Suns were the first to purchase. In early 2012, Jeff Kunowski became business partners with Douglas Moss, a veteran in the sports business. The relationships Moss cultivated during his tenures in the sports and entertainment industry have helped bring Illumin8 to the next level. Illumin8’s notable clients include: the MGM Grand, Panasonic North America, Livenation, the Phoenix Suns, the Arizona Diamondbacks, Levy Restaurants, TS Sports, Bluemedia, Maya Day and Night Club, American Valet, and others. Jeff Kunowski was recently named one of AZ Central’s 2012 35 Entrepreneurs Under 35 for his success with Illumin8. In 2013, Moss and Kunowski partnered to form MK Solutions Group, a provider of innovative technology solutions for sports and entertainment venues.
