From February 2014 to Present (1 year 11 months) MEP Coordinator @ Installation of New 900 Ton Trane Chiller in a Existing Mechanical Room located on 3rd Flr. required a tear down and re-assemble with a recertification from Trane . Utilized Crane to fly components through Exterior opening made for access to get the chiller to Mechanical room. Very Strategically . Also, assisted the Superintendent of Construction with getting the Project through life safety requirements , Fire alarm testing and certifications and Final inspections with AHJ for CO. Completed TAB , BMS set up with Contractors. OEM training for Operations of facilities to take control of the new systems in place. From January 2014 to February 2014 (2 months) MEP Coordinator @ Assisted in Operations with Pre-Construction . Duke Energy did these to Co-op power to the grid to supplement down time for other operating plants to perform PM( preventive maintenance)or at peak demands in the summers. Sr. Super on this project with excellent team members. Also work as the Commissioning coordinator oversaw the operations of third party team . Then commenced a full start up of plant to grid connection . One of most prideful jobs of many that I've done. Then once that was complete a Second 800 megawatt unit plant was built. This was a "HERSHE" unit. Steam and combined Gas unit. Worked as one of the supers with project then on the commissioning of plant and start up. Responsibilities , plan the days work, layout, lead the journeymen through the phases of work. Maintain safety, JSA/JHA's, for the first year and then promoted to Superintendent .
