In 1986, I made the decision to join my family on their newest venture – starting a third party logistics company, Kingsgate Transportation. Any new business owner will tell you that starting a business is a difficult, uphill battle, but through the ups and downs of the years, Kingsgate has thrived through innovative thinking and a commitment to finding solutions for our customers. With over 29 years of experience as an industry leader in transportation and logistics, I can always find a way to make sure that all of a customer’s shipping needs are met, giving them peace of mind that their freight is taken care of. I’m able to come up with solutions to ship any kind of freight, including dry freight, refrigerated freight and flatbed freight, to any destination with all modes of transport. We specialize in trucking, rail, air and ocean transport. Before joining Kingsgate, I worked at Churchill Trucking, which became vital to helping me understand the importance of carriers in the shipping equation. I specialize in strategy development for small to mid-sized shippers to deliver improvements to distribution and shipping processes. I strive every day not to just satisfy the expectations of our clients and carriers, but to exceed them. I’ve never learned to settle for anything less. In business, my dad taught me that the most important thing in business is to do right by our clients. Though it’s simple, this mantra has driven every decision Kingsgate makes. I strive to provide our customers with the best customer experience possible. Our customer’s future hinges on the safekeeping and on-time delivery of their freight.
