I am driven by an urge to build the ideas that pop into my head as well as to help others build the things that pop into theirs. I chose software as my medium because it is extremely malleable and easy to share.
I build iOS apps as both a career and a hobby because it is something I truly enjoy. I like walking other people through the app building process, all the way from initial concept through wireframes and UI choices, on to prototype(s) and then finished app and updates.
I jumped into software development after having a few bad experiences with freelance developers and deciding I could do better (both for myself and for others). I enjoyed Ruby on Rails development while I was doing it, but once I started iOS development I shifted my core focus there. I find the full app building process truly enjoyable. I seriously love what I do!
