I am so excited to report the daunting task of writing and submitting our biz plan will be completed by this Thursday!!! From there the plan goes out to lenders - we still hope to open our doors on 9/1/15. But may be closer to 10/1/15 - either way - I cannot wait to serve the patients
I am so excited to report the daunting task of writing and submitting our biz plan will be completed by this Thursday!!! From there the plan goes out to lenders - we still hope to open our doors on 9/1/15. But may be closer to 10/1/15 - either way - I cannot wait to serve the patients - hospice and palliative care needs of Dearborn, Franklin, Ripley, and Ohio counties in southeast Indiana. We have had so many good responses and referrals already - now to just GET OUR DOORS OPEN!! Stay tuned!! We are currently working with a website designer and plan to have this up and running in the next few weeks!
Owner/LSW @ I have been working with an RN to develop and open a hospice/palliative care agency. Together we have thumbed through the Medicare Policy and Procedure handbook - created our companies personal policy and procedure handbook. We have created our employee handbook - and have recruited experienced nurses and aides to be a part of Loving Hearts Hospice and Palliative Care, LLC. We are currently working toward our CHAP accreditation. In hopes to open our doors in mid September - mid October. We have had an outpouring of community support in our development process. Have built strong relationships with the Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce and IAHHC. It is amazing the knowledge I have gained through this experience - starting any company is difficult, but when dealing with Medicare/Medicaid - there are so many vague lines and an unclear path to follow. We have navigated through each and every turn as God opens doors and closes others.
