From November 2005 to Present (10 years 2 months) CROCODILE (Operations Manager) @ I'm CROCODILE (Chief Recruitment Officer Coordinating Over Development Improvement Learning & Efficiency). My title was supposed to be "Operations Manager" but its a fairly boring, uninspiring non-descriptive title.
As CROCODILE my key areas of responsibility are:
*Current client engagement and relationship improvement. I work closely with our key clients to ensure we understand their business and recruitment needs. The stronger our relationships are the better our business works.
*Internal Process Improvements. We aim to be the best recruiters in Melbourne and to do so we must have the best talent identification systems. I'm constantly consulting with our recruiters to ensure they are at the top of their game.
*Business Development. I lead our BDM team taking responsibility for winning new business through various sales channels.
*Special Projects. Projects come, projects go... I lead several mini "task force" groups that aim to improve our recruitment strategies and our business.

We are a boutique recruitment agency specialising in call centre, sales and marketing and administration recruitment. My role is a combination of branch management and recruitment.
With a primary focus on recruiting for businesses within a 10km radius of Mount Waverley, our branch has been successfully helping local business attract and retain high quality talent while keeping prices well below industry average. In 2012 we placed staff in over 40 local businesses. We work with all sizes of business from large (MYOB, Reliance Petroleum) to medium (EasyWeddings.com.au, LightFM) to small (Little Stars Gift Vouchers).
We are expert recruiters, and in 2012 our average placement fee was less than 10% (compare that with your current recruiter!)
As Branch Manager I have full profit and loss responsibility and manage 2-3 staff. I have been with SMAART for 7 years, being promoted from consultant to contact centre recruitment manager and eventually brand manager.
