I'm also the author of seven technical books on a variety of topics and I speak regularly on technology, open source and operations. Currently VP of Engineering at Kickstarter and an advisor at Docker Inc - the authors of the container virtualization platform Docker. Previously VP of Engineering at Venmo and was an early employee at Puppet Labs, the makers of the Puppet configuration management tool. Whilst at Puppet Labs managed teams that delivered Services, Support, Operations, Education, BD and Community Management. Prior to this managed the CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) function for the National Australia Bank.
