I would rather sit down with a client or prospect and ask questions about their business, how they go to market, what their goals, projects, and challenges are. I will then do my homework, researching the information I now have to see if I can offer ideas utilizing some of the products I represent, to assist that company to overcome a specific challenge, or achieve a particular goal. If I can, then and only then, would I contact that company for another appointment, this time to present specific, targeted ideas.
I attend all of the significant trade shows in my own industry, always looking for what’s hot, special, new and different. In fact, I just got back from the largest of them, held every year in Las Vegas.
I purchase and subscribe to the very best search tools available in my industry. Frequently I’m asked to simply source specific items someone has seen somewhere else. My success rate is in the high 90’s.
I can provide any business or organization, large or small, with almost any product imprinted or decorated to tell their story … to enhance their logo or brand’s recognition and image. And if all someone wants is a nice coffee mug, or a classy pen, or a sturdy tote bag, or a sharp-looking shirt or sweater – then I’m your guy.
