He then went on to complete his PhD at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1997. After completing his PhD, Ivo worked for two years as a Research Engineer at the Telecommunications Company Philips in Eindhoven, Netherlands from 1997 to 1998. From 1998 to 2000, I worked as a Manager of International Sales at KPN/Unisource France from 1998 to 2000. From 2002 to 2005, I worked as a Manager of Network Outsourcing at T-Systems in Frankfurt AmMain, Germany. From October 2016 to November 2017, I worked as the CEO of IoT at Vodafone.

Ivo Rook has a background in education that goes back to 1984 when he graduated from Atheneum Beta Studies at Spieringshoek with a degree in Information Technology. Rook then completed a Masters in Information Technology which he earned at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1996. Rook then moved on to complete a Business program with the KPN business school in 1997-1998. There are a few key points that Rook would like to stress when it comes to his education and work readiness.
