As VP Finance, Business Transformation and Commercial Spend and Global Lead for this initiative, responsibilities include enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of spend through zero based budgeting (ZBB) and trade spend optimisation as well as providing strategic intervention to the “Future Fit” element of the Business Transformation with €3.5bn restructuring spend. From 2007 to 2010 (3 years) Greater New York City AreaVice President Finance and IT, Unilever Greece @ Unilever Unilever Greece had revenues of approximately €500m. As part of the business, Elais-Unilever, it was listed on the Athens Stock Exchange with 33% of shares owned by third parties, the role of VP Finance and IT therefore included being a public company CFO. From 2003 to 2007 (4 years) GreeceFinance Director, Corporate Treasury @ Unilever As International Funding Manager, my responsibilities included the planning, structuring and issuance of Unilever’s corporate debt; management of debt investor relations; managing Unilever’s Group-1 banks; and managing the relationship with the rating agencies. The role provided support to acquisition and disposal activities when funding was involved (e.g. DiverseyLever disposal).
