Role Responsible for all logistics, operations and commercial activity, out of Smurfit Kappa Blackburn Recycling Depot, currently processing in the region of 6000 tonnes of fibre based material monthly. From July 2014 to Present (1 year 6 months) Commercial Director UK and Ireland Waste to Energy @ Since its establishment in 1984, CellMark has become one of the world’s foremost providers of supply chain services to the pulp / paper / recycling and recovery industries, with group sales exceeding 3 billion US dollars and handling over 5 million tonnes of product per year through its 70 offices and facilities worldwide. CellMark’s vast logistics experience coupled with its financial strength enables it to offer both producers and processors of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) and Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) security of disposal and supply, we are able to support Waste Management companies of all sizes evaluate the resource potential of their residual waste fractions. Role Achieve Business growth in line with or in excess of Company expectations. • Use my extensive knowledge of UK and Global Waste Market to formalise strategies to secure feedstock supply, of RDF and SRF Alrenative Fuels. • Manage supply chain relationships ensuring security of supply and delivery, manage Fuel supply expectations, ensuring contractual obligations for fuel supply are met with contacted Energy From Waste Plants in Scandinavia , Northern and Eastern Europe. Negotiate port and trucking logistics ensuring compliance with all TFS requirements. • Maintain up to date knowledge of Waste Legislation , Renewable Energy incentives, technology developments etc. allowing me to be pro-active evolving startegies, to ensure the delivery of business growth. • Assess tender opportunities and their obligations, manage any submissions using all available resources. From April 2013 to February 2014 (11 months) National Commercial Manager @ Energos Ltd (BioGenpower) technology provides a robust solution for the treatment of residual waste and its conversion to energy ,Energos plants are sized for local applications, converting between 40,000 and 200,000 tonnes pa of household, commercial or industrial waste residue into electricity and/or heat – delivered for local use. Role : • Energos (BioGen Power) is a Developer of ACT Gasification Plants • Build extensive knowledge of UK and Global Waste Market to formalise strategies to deliver projects • Form and develop relationships with waste management companies, local authorities and potential developers , gaining knowledge of available feedstock’s with a view to delivering a merchant fed plant. • Maintain up to date knowledge of Waste Legislation • Develop quality tender submissions to deliver bankable Local Authority waste contracts to underpin the development of Projects throughout the UK • Investigate and introduce new development opportunities, including site appraisal, planning restrictions, CHP capabilities and feedstock availability. • Keep key stakeholders updated with all relevant UK waste issues including RDF/SRF export markets. Offering innovative waste management and recycling solutions , including the sourcing of Landfill Diversion opportunities and all operational and compliance requirements and setting business plan objectives through KPI’s and SLA’s.
