I also write on American politics. In my new position as a Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, I will write a book on the future of American conservatism and pen myraid articles on the same theme.
Senior Fellow @ From August 2013 to Present (2 years 5 months) Vice President and Director, National Research Initiative @ I oversee six departments within AEI - health care, education, financial regulation, legal policy, energy & environment, government relations. I also oversee and manage our Values & Capitalism project and our agriculture policy reform project. Finally, I direct our National Research Initiative, a program that connects scholars and academics with AEI through funded projects and visiting fellowships.
I also write extensively on current American politics and the intellectual currents and directions implicated in current events. From January 2006 to August 2013 (7 years 8 months) Vice President, Programs @ I started as the Executive Director of the Center for Civic Innovation. As V.P. for Programs, I supervised all centers and research activity for the Institute aside from the magazine, City Journal. From September 1998 to January 2006 (7 years 5 months) President @ I started as Executive Director and was promoted to President in 1996.
