I am a programmer and PhD Candidate in Forest Policy Analysis with a strong interest in Data Science. My current research is on policy optimization using reinforcement and machine learning techniques for large spatial simulations.
I am also pursuing a MS in Applied Economics and have a previous masters in Plant Biology. I pair strong mathematics, statistics, and programming abilities with dynamic interpersonal and leadership skills, all on top of 10 years of experience working as a programmer, analyst, and researcher in several STEM fields.
