I have lead the HARA (Hazard & Risk Assessment) and Functional Safety Requirements definition for systems including LKA (Lane Keeping Assistance) and ACC (Advanced Cruise Control). I have also lead the assessment of camera calibration software development processes, software architecture, and testing practices according to the ISO 26262 standard. From January 2015 to August 2015 (8 months) Ontario, CanadaSystems Engineer @ I identified and analyzed potential cyber security vulnerabilities of a safety-critical plant display system. I explored the applicability of a research technology called mTags for augmentation of the security of the system. mTags are lightweight metadata for augmenting microkernel messages; they propagate through the system as processes communicate. The mechanism was developed at the Embedded and Real-Time Systems research group at the University of Waterloo (of which I was a part of). On the front end, I used HTML5, JavaScript, and JQuery to optimize front-end data storage and manipulation.
