Acerta provides a machine intelligence solution for the Industrial IoT (Internet of Things). The exponential growth in software size and the rise of Industrial IoT have made it more difficult to diagnose problems in machines. Acerta helps reduce the effort necessary to find and understand the causes. By using the large amount of data gathered from system operation, Acerta can gain powerful new insight and intelligence. We identify anomalies and irregularities in the system, help zero in to the root cause of the problem, and predict future failures. The automated analysis transforms company day-to-day operations and improves decision-making. Get more information on Acerta at http://acerta.ca Follow Acerta on Twitter at @AcertaAnalytics

Co-Founder @ Acerta provides a machine intelligence solution for the Industrial IoT (Internet of Things). I have lead the HARA (Hazard & Risk Assessment) and Functional Safety Requirements definition for systems including LKA (Lane Keeping Assistance) and ACC (Advanced Cruise Control). I have also lead the assessment of camera calibration software development processes, software architecture, and testing practices according to the ISO 26262 standard. From January 2015 to August 2015 (8 months) Ontario, CanadaSystems Engineer @ I identified and analyzed potential cyber security vulnerabilities of a safety-critical plant display system. I explored the applicability of a research technology called mTags for augmentation of the security of the system. mTags are lightweight metadata for augmenting microkernel messages; they propagate through the system as processes communicate. The mechanism was developed at the Embedded and Real-Time Systems research group at the University of Waterloo (of which I was a part of). I evaluated the benefits and risks of addition of augmented messages to a QNX based display system ACCIS (Advanced Control Centre Information System) From January 2013 to April 2013 (4 months) Web Developer - Dashboard @ I developed online dashboards for management and visualization of large quantities of advertisement data. I used latest web technologies to optimize the storage, retrieval, and analysis of the data. On the backend, I wrote and optimized SQL queries for retrieving and updating records. I also implemented RESTful web services for data analysis, user management, payment processing, etc. using Python and Django. On the front end, I used HTML5, JavaScript, and JQuery to optimize front-end data storage and manipulation. I also used Highcharts.js for visualizing statistics about the performance of advertising campaigns. From May 2012 to August 2012 (4 months) Web Developer - Full Stack @ I developed a web application to facilitate claim management for electronics suppliers and distributers using C# .NET and ASP .NET. Additionally, I got a lot of exposure and experience with object-oriented design, MySQL queries and query optimization, and database migrations. I also took on a role of a business analyst to facilitate the communication of customer feature requirements to the development team. From August 2011 to December 2011 (5 months) Dalian, Liaoning, ChinaSoftware Engineer - Integration and Testing @ I performed system integration by combining software modules for various system sub-components and ensuring their compatibility. I tested for errors in functionality and performance, as well as performed stress testing of the integrated software. I performed Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of the integrated product on wireless mobile modems (LTE and WCDMA protocols). From January 2011 to April 2011 (4 months) Business/ Systems Analyst @ I designed and deployed intranet sites for the project management and IT departments. I developed web parts for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 to support custom site features. I also assisted with project management activities such as outlining project work trees, deliverables, and timelines using Oracle Primavera and MS Project. From May 2010 to September 2010 (5 months) Bachelor of Software Engineering @ University of Waterloo From 2009 to 2014 Master's Degree, Electrical and Computer Engineering @ University of Waterloo Greta Cutulenco is skilled in: JavaScript, HTML, C++, C, Git, Software Development, Software Design, Software Engineering, PostgreSQL, SQL, Testing, Agile Methodologies, Integration, Java, C#, Python
