I’m a content creator and strategist who has spent the past two decades delivering award-winning work for media companies and brands. I'm interested in what's coming next, developing a culture of innovation, building the content models of the future and understanding the ideas and technologies that will shape the future. As well as success in complex, multiplatform media organisations in both London and New York, my storytelling experience extends to being a published author, screenplay writer and co-founder of the digital platform MyLondonStory, which is available as an iOS app. This has offered me the opportunity to consult for brands in the energy, financial, fashion, technology and retail sectors as well as several advertising agencies. I have delivered keynote presentations at events throughout Europe and the Americas and at educational institutions such as the Strelka Institute in Moscow, the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising in London and Oxford University and have moderated numerous panels, including Advertising Week Europe and chaired the LinkedIn panel on the future of content marketing at the Cannes Lions. I've also been fortunate to interview high-level executives before audiences of their peers, including Jeff Weiner (CEO of LinkedIn), Troy Carter (entertainment mogul/Lady Gaga’s manager) and Harper Reed (CTO of Obama for America). My fifth novel, The Nero Decree, was published in November 2013 by Thomas and Mercer. My journalism has appeared in numerous publications, including The Guardian, Observer, Arena, The Face, Wired, Details and Newsweek. An essay of mine is included in the upcoming thought leadership book 'Connecting Minds, Creating the Future' along with work by Joseph Stiglitz, Hans Rosling and Bill Gates.
