Leading the HR function for New Business (direct report to the CPO of HR) I provide strategic leadership and focus on the People agenda at RAC. This is achieved through a partnership with multiple Districts and Regions within a Division. Support includes, succession planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, training and compensation/benefits. Accountable for coordinating with Plant Human Resources Managers at multiple sites to ensure effectiveness in staff development programs, establishing uniform plant hiring/recruiting practices to improve quality and retention of line employees achieving plant turnover reduction in excess of 30%, facilitating supervisors/employees’ annual EEO training, implementing union-avoidance programs, interpreting policies/procedures to ensure adherence to state/federal legislation to eliminate potential liabilities, and guiding supervisors relative to employee counseling sessions.
