IT Recruiter Specialist @ FREELANCE Freelance IT Recruiter supporting companies seeking to fill IT roles in Mexico and the United States. My technical background allows me to research and understand new technologies, source and contact qualified candidates, perform technical interviews and help candidates along the recruiting process. For the past seven years I have primarily worked in the Finance and Insurance sectors with an emphasis in wide variety of technical profiles, and levels of expertise including: • Software Architects and Developers; Java, .NET and their respective tools, languages, methodologies and frameworks • UI/UX Designers, Web Developers, and Mobile App Developers • Quality Assurance Directors, Managers, and Analysts • Business Analysts in Financial Sectors• Big Data Administrators, (Hadoop and Cloudera) BI and Data Recovery Specialists • Network Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and DBAs After sourcing and screening I send only the most qualified candidates to my clients then coordinate interviews, receive feedback, and ensure the hiring process remains on track with the candidates. I also assist the candidates by requesting and reviewing educational documents, technical certifications and Visa requirements when needed. Once the candidate is hired, I provide follow-up with both the Company and the Candidate to ensure everything is working as expected Houston TX, San Diego Area, MexicoTeam Lead @ Dell Services I was involved in the building the AXA Service Desk from inception; travelled to Spain for knowledge transfer from the Dell Service Desk which was giving technical support to users in Spain on several applications, by telephone, e-mail and web page. Knowledge transfer included operational reporting and analysis of data on the reports. The biggest part of my role was reporting, I produce all account activity reports including Daily Activity, Operator Management, Agent Activities, Telephony: received, attended, abandoned calls, Incidents generated, Backlog. Also analyzing data obtained from automated tools in order to extract relevant information and produce clean reports to share with the customer and team. Another important function of my job was daily interaction with the agents with a goal of maintaining a positive work environment by motivating them and ensuring that they have access to the tools they need in order to perform an excellent job. • Deep dive analysis of daily reports to identify areas of improvement; create action plans, implement plans in the daily activities in order to improve numbers and service levels• Respond to customer satisfaction issues by reviewing the incident then proposing solutions • Create Service Reports for internal and external customer. • Ensure that account SLA’s are met along with process improvements where needed• Deliver daily activity service reports• Daily supervision of 23 agents • Coordinate work shifts and personnel schedules with an eye towards work-life balance• Take escalation from end user in challenging calls• Presentations to client on reports; draft proposals to client for improvement • In depth research of complicated cases From April 2010 to May 2011 (1 year 2 months) Guadalajara Area, MexicoTalent Acquisition Specialist @ Dell Services • Recruiting specialist in IT with an emphasis on infrastructure engineers• Headhunting of active and passive candidates from Job Boards, Internet, Data Bases, Third Party Contacts, Universities and Social Media.• Technical assessments with managers to validate requirements • Researched new job profiles, salaries and talent availability in the market • Performed interviews and evaluations for the pre-selection process• Communicated with hiring managers to understand their needs, and provided feedback after interviews.• Make final offers to selected candidates, negotiating compensation and start dates• Worked on a recruiting database where we kept information on candidates including strengths and weaknesses• Point of technical contact in order to clarify specific details in all the Requisitions From September 2007 to April 2010 (2 years 8 months) Guadalajara Area, MexicoTechnical Rectruiter @ TERSS In 2006 Perot Systems was starting operations in Mexico. TERSS was the firm contracted by Perot Systems to recruit in Mexico, with a goal of hiring 200+ people in the first year of operations, which we concluded successfully. Because of my engineering background I was appointed the point of contact in order to clarify technical details in the Requisitions.• Recruiting Specialist in IT with an emphasis on infrastructure engineers with high end specializations in Unix, (AIX, Linux, HP-UX, Oracle Solaris), Windows, Network and Messaging.
