The Camera Controls team is in charge of auto exposure, auto white balance, focus, and scene modes. From June 2015 to Present (7 months) Research Engineer @ Worked in the Algorithm Team on image matching, similarity and performance tuning on LTU internal engine.
Mainly worked in C++ and kept myself updated in the latest advancements in C++ (compilers, standards) to see how we could improve our code base.
Development of iOS applications to showcase our image recognition technology. From June 2011 to June 2015 (4 years 1 month) Paris Area, FranceSoftware Engineer @ Worked in the Graphic team on the graphics system raster. Optimized the software rasterizer for CoreGraphics.
Worked on the Mac OS X port of Qt in general, keeping it updated with the latest Mac technologies (FSEvents, unified toolbar, ...). From January 2010 to June 2011 (1 year 6 months) Oslo Area, NorwayResearch Engineer @ Worked on the Mélimage project in collaboration with the Research and Development Laboratory of EPITA (LRDE). Development of a unified platform for medical imaging involving segmentation and registration with heterogeneous data.
Development of the Olena platform (http://olena.lrde.epita.fr) depending of the needs of the Mélimage project (speed optimizations, specific I/O like DICOM format, ...).
Participated in the ICDAR 2009 Handwriting Segmentation Contest in the LRDE team (6th position). From February 2009 to October 2009 (9 months) Intern @ Worked on XIP, an image processing platform used in the medical field (http://www.openxip.org). XIP is based on Open Inventor (an OpenGL layer) and Qt. Extended the network and multithreading capabilities.
Ported it on Mac OS X and Linux. Unified the OpenGL layer and the build process using Cmake. From February 2008 to August 2008 (7 months) Teacher assistant @ Teaching UNIX basics (shell scripting, etc), C and C++ to third year student: elaboration of various projects. From July 2007 to January 2008 (7 months) Intern @ Intern at the National Institute of Telecommunications located in Évry (France), in the biometric unit.
