I believe machine intelligence will fundamentally change the way humans live. I have shaped my life to facilitate my contribution to this human endeavor. I take pride in my ability to imagine and develop new ideas and methods for building such systems, derived from published academic literature. I often find myself at the limit of what the community has published and discovered, pushing me harder to piece together novel ideas and methods. For recreation, I develop games, robots, tests, and algorithms for experimentation.
