“Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself!”
Ever since I was a little girl, I had huge dreams of the kind of person I wanted to be and the type of life I wanted to live. I wasn’t always the most confident person; but I had such strong reasons WHY I wanted these things, I never doubted I’d find the HOW to actually get me there.
To me, success isn’t all about money. Success is having the freedom to live your life the way you really want to. Because of this, I was never going to conform to taking the traditional route of going to University to then try to secure a job. Instead, I was going to study in my free time, gain as much experience as possible and then set up something I was truly passionate about. This is how “Ella Stearn Events” came about and my confidence and competency has grown from there.
Today, I work as a Freelance Event Manager, taking on a range of exciting events and projects for businesses and charities. I am also the Co-Founder of the newly launched: BlueMonkey Social Media and have another new venture to be launched later this year.
Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to do business together, share an idea or even just say hello. I love meeting likeminded, passionate people who work hard and have a vision, so Linkedin connection invites will also be accepted!

They say: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
And this is EXACTLY why people hire me.
My passion and enthusiasm for the projects that I work on means that I am always fully focused on what my client is looking to achieve and work incredibly hard to get them that desired end result. Whether it’s a business looking to raise their profile and gain new customers or a charity in need of raising additional funds, I can help from start to finish with as much or as little assistance as needed.
I have a great network of close contacts who can help with anything from graphic design to full integrated marketing campaigns. I also have a strong degree of competency in marketing, social media and promotion, which means when we work together, not only do you get an event planner but the eyes and ears of an experienced, motivated professional who will work with you to achieved a set goal.
I strongly believe in collaborating with like-minded people who are experts in their area. Your time is valuable & shouldn’t be wasted on projects that can be done far more efficiently by someone else.

From August 2015 to Present (3 months) West Midlands/ WorcestershireSales & Marketing Co-ordinator @ I love to learn, grow & really contribute to a business; so I spent 10 months working flexibly with Aurora Graphics and Displays; the leading independent specialist in the production of exhibitions, signage, retail displays and graphics.
I was responsible for creating, organising and maintaining multiple sales & marketing projects, alongside implementing a new social media strategy to develop a strong online presence. I also worked closely with our New Business Development Manager’s in London & Birmingham, identifying prospect clients and developing relationships with them to generate warm leads.
I now work on a freelance basis with Aurora, so if you are interested in finding out more about what they do, please visit: www.auroragraphics.co.uk Their new website is due to be launched! From September 2014 to June 2015 (10 months) Birmingham, United KingdomFounder @ After deciding to leave my secure job to pursue my passion, I spent a year traveling, blogging, gaining experience and learning how to build a business!
My main focus and the sole purpose of setting this up was to be able to earn a living by supporting charities/ causes I really care about and make a real positive difference. I worked in a way that meant there was never a cost to the charity, no risk whatsoever; just the guarantee of money, awareness and publicity being raised.
As my reputation as an effective event manager grew and my blogging increased the traffic to my website, more enquiries came streaming through. I began collaborating with other businesses and expanded my work to support SME’s & start-ups throughout the UK, helping them to grow their business through events. My sheer passion and enthusiasm even resulted in me gaining an incredible client from America, International Speaker & Coach, Cornell Thomas, who then came to the UK for the events I’d organised for him.
Setting this up was one of the best decisions I’d made. I learnt so much and not only did it further develop me as an event manager, but also as a person. I still offer my event management services, but have expanded this to also help in other areas that my strengths lie. From May 2014 to June 2015 (1 year 2 months) Birmingham / WorcesterBusiness and Marketing Support Assistant @ After completing college early, I secured my full-time job at Spirit Executive, a start-up Executive Search and Recruitment Solutions company. My role was initially to undertake all administrative duties, alongside acting as PA to the Managing Partner. However, I worked hard to gain more responsibilities, developing the role into full Business & Marketing Support. I took control of all the social media & marketing; producing plans and implementing new strategies, whilst working on specific projects- charity events, training & induction for new staff and the website & blog content. From December 2013 to August 2014 (9 months) Worcester, United KingdomBusiness Assistant @ Magic Whiteboard is a company that featured on the BBC's, Dragon's Den and is co-owned by Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meaden. After a sales & marketing Work Experience placement with them, I was invited to sell at the NEC Autumn Show Trade Fair. From October 2013 to December 2013 (3 months) Worcester, United KingdomSelf-employed Dance Teacher @ Alongside working in part-time jobs, my entrepreneurial spirit gave me the initiative to successfully establish my own dance tuition business, teaching both privately and at a number of schools.
