VP of Product @ Reporting to the CEO, leading small product team responsible for conceptualization, management and launch of all new products, special projects, and features. From July 2013 to Present (2 years 4 months) Director of Product Management @ Reporting to the CTO, spearheaded overhaul of internal user support process, migrated from trac to JIRA, SVN to Github, and formal Agile product management processes. Managed mid-sized product team overseeing design & development of HuffPost products. Specific achievements include: launch of HuffPost international sites, Facebook social reader, social media scheduling tool (similar to Tweetdeck), community moderation platform, editorial stats dashboard. From January 2012 to April 2013 (1 year 4 months) Greater New York City AreaProduct Lead, Social News @ Reporting to Head of Social News, designed and managed technical development of community platform and moderation tools, user reputation system, gamification in the form of badging and virtual gifts, and social news products including integrations with Facebook, Twitter and other social APIs. From June 2010 to December 2011 (1 year 7 months) Founder & Chief Operating Officer @ Co-founded in 2008, Adaptive Semantics built JuLiA (Just a Linguistic Algorithm), a machine learning system for automated comment moderation in online communities.
Adaptive Semantics was acquired by The Huffington Post in 2010. From December 2008 to September 2010 (1 year 10 months) Co-Chair of Operations, Community & Social Media Committee @ Lead team of over 100 volunteers in the development of social media measurement standards. From 2007 to 2009 (2 years) Community & Content Manager @ Designed and managed development of a social network linking game developers with non-profits towards creating social issue games, as well as a second social network for the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation grantee community.
Managed redesign and relaunch of Games for Change website, and expanded blog network.
Established and managed social media accounts for Games for Change on Facebook, MySpace, Second Life, Twitter, and others.
