I have primarily worked at the tobacco carcinogenesis lab (ACTREC, Kharghar) for my MSc thesis work.....I studied the carcinogenic properties of an Organophosphorus pesticide Methyl parathion and the metabolites of its microbial degradation by Ames test. During my PhD at Hinduja Hospital, I worked on molecular detection and characterization of MRSA by PCR a sequencing methods like MLST......I have also done routine PCR diagnostics like TB PCR, HSV PCR and viral loads for CMV, HIV, HCV and HBV.
