From June 2014 to Present (1 year 7 months) Jacksonville, Florida AreaDirector Business Operations and Strategy @ Allstate is the second largest personal lines insurance company in the US with over $33 billion in annual revenues. The Allstate Auto Dealer Program is a relatively new, but high profile start-up business to Allstate and is a key driver of increased revenue.
My responsibilities include developing a strategy to maximize the number of successful dealers on the program in the shortest amount of time possible. That includes growing a sustainable infrastructure that can handle significant volume and maintain the highest quality of business. From July 2013 to June 2014 (1 year) Senior Vice President Business Development and Account Management @ The Warranty Group is a global company in over 30 countries offering extended warranties and other insurance related products. With over 1900 employees and $1.8 billion in annual revenues, The Warranty Group provides a variety of administrative and insurance solutions for their partners. North American programs are underwritten by Virginia Surety.
As Senior Vice President Business Development and Account Management, responsibilities included North America for business partners writing, auto, home, brown and white, and credit card warranties, as well as other finance and insurance products for auto dealers. Provided leadership to 5 Vice Presidents with business development and a total group of 22 employees. Our team established a new high with annual revenue of $450 million and pre-tax income of $45 million. From January 2012 to 2013 (1 year) Greater Chicago AreaPresident Financial Services Company @ Administration Specialists of Omaha is a Third Party Administrator of auto extended warranties. The TPA's extended warranties were underwritten by First Mercury Insurance Company and registered and licensed in all 50 states.
As President, responsibilities included agent recruitment and training, finance and accounting, product development and underwriting, risk management, regulatory approvals, and negotiation of contracts. Built strong entrepreneurial team that was operationally very efficient. As President, myself and the other senior leadership of ASO were able to provided agents and dealers with excellent products and administration during a very difficult time for the auto industry. From 2009 to 2011 (2 years) Greater Omaha AreaChief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President Operations and Product Development, and Board Member @ Universal Warranty Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of GMAC Insurance from a strategic acquisition in 2000. UWC grew from $30 million revenue to $200 million annually during our team's leadership efforts. UWC, a TPA for auto extended warranties, underwrote contracts through MIC General and grew from 52 to 135 employees.
As Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President Operations and Product Development, and Board Member, our senior leadership team grew UWC from a regional presence to a national presence with 7 times revenue growth in a 9 year period. This was accomplished by being integral member of the acquisition and due diligence team and then upgrading infrastructure including accounting system, new IT Policy system, and implementing controls and procedures necessary for a public company. Then, after operational efficiencies and procedures were in place, it involved developing VehicleOne, the most innovative product to hit the market in 20 years, with the underwriting discipline and risk management controls in place to make it successful for our independent agent and auto dealer partners. VehicleOne took UWC from a $5 million underwriting loss to $20 million in after tax annual profits.
One of the biggest drivers of the success at UWC was the business plans and incentive compensation program that I developed as Chief Financial Officer. It pushed growth expectations way beyond what we presented to the General Motors Board at acquisition. Beyond my duties as Senior Vice President Operations and Product Development, my business development efforts with agents and dealers was also key to the rapid and profitable growth. From 2000 to 2009 (9 years) Greater Omaha AreaSenior Manager Operations and Finance @ GMAC Insurance had annual revenues of $2 billion and provided a variety of Insurance Products. With approximately 2000 employees globally, my efforts focused primarily on the United States and Canada.
As Senior Manager Operations and Finance, our team developed a financial and strategic business plan that delivered an extremely successful new business unit called Specialty Markets and Products to obtain business through channels that did not involve the traditional GM and GMAC channels. This unit grew to annual revenue in excess of $400 million annually.
As Manager Product Development and Marketing my focus was on developing and marketing new product for the General Motors Protection Plan.
As Manager of Pricing, we put actuarial discipline in place to consistently monitor, measure and analyze trends for the US and Canada (UK, too) with annual revenue between $500-$600 million.
