Since joining Pega as a Technical Product and Education Instructor more than 6 years ago, I’ve increased my technical and business knowledge of the BPM and CRM space significantly. My Pega career started in 2008 when I was contacted by Pega and (the then) Lombardi on the same day. I chose Pega as they contacted me first and in the words of the recruiter from Lombardi “Have a great career with Pegasystems because we cannot compete”… Today, as Solutions Consultant Enablement Leader, I am responsible for ensuring our EMEA and APAC solutions consultants grow their technical competencies and understanding of our technology by managing continuous enablement initiatives. I am also part of the Solution Engineering team as I get the fantastic opportunity to be involved with our solutions on customer engagements and an internal go-to person for various technical help.Solution Engineer @ I volunteered my services to the Solution Engineering team in order to not fall behind in my passion for the Pega platform and its technology. I am called upon to support internal consultants via on-call duties. I have worked alongside clients and Solution Consultants to create and support the delivery of POCs/demos that meet or surpass scope and functionality requirements to ensure that all success criteria are delivered and product differentiation is highlighted. These demos are meant to be used as starting points for potential implementations, as opposed to throw-away assets. Oftentimes achieving this goal will require utilizing a deep knowledge of the horizontal and industry applications so that they can be successfully leveraged within these opportunities. I also work with product management, marketing, application teams, GCS, and professional services on both internal and external projects.
