Postdoctoral Fellow @ Create a brand-new programming language for agent-based simulation, modeling, and predictive analytics. Manage team of research assistants to develop novel technologies for rapid project design and iteration. From May 2015 to Present (8 months) Ph.D. student @ Published three lead-author papers on simulation methodology and spatial dynamics. Created a simulation and analysis platform for large-scale evolutionary computer-based experiments. From July 2010 to May 2015 (4 years 11 months) Associate Computational Biologist @ Engineered high-throughput data mining pipelines using distributed strategies. Accelerated discovery by creating an object-relational data exploration platform. Contributed to 148 genomes released by GenBank. From April 2007 to May 2010 (3 years 2 months) Associate Programmer Analyst @ Created an automated search tool for identifying facilities lacking EPA permits. Developed a PHP-based templating system for building federal agency web apps. Developed faster, more reliable data engines for existing tools.
