I was an early employee at Galt. Founding creator of Quicken.com (based on Galt Technology), a 350,000,000 page view a month, personal finance website. Lead the overall development effort and transitioned the team from Pittsburgh to Mountain View. ♦ Launched Quicken.com, from initial technical design to first launch in 3 months, all while moving the team, merging 3 existing websites, deploying new technology, coordinating with a significant new business partner, managing multiple branded versions of the new site, merging a web engineering team with people from various desktop projects, and managing the technical, editorial, and design efforts. ♦ Managed the cross functional teams responsible for designing, developing, deploying, managing, and maintaining the infrastructure and UI for the high volume features of Quicken.com. The team was responsible for stock quotes, charts, news, portfolio, community, alerts, personalization, and the proprietary application server architecture upon which Quicken.com was based. ♦ Program managed full releases of Quicken.com including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, requirement definition, management of cross group dependencies, driving many successful releases.
