From May 2015 to Present (8 months) Customer Immersion Experience (CIE) Facilitator @ As an employee of Slalom, a Microsoft Gold Partner, I am a facilitator for the Customer Immersion Experience (formerly Microsoft Experience Center) for Microsoft Enterprise level clients.
The CIE is used to effectively demonstrate to customers and prospects the value of the Microsoft Productivity Platform including Office 365, Windows 10, and Office Professional by giving real world, hands on experiences. It's not a training class or a demo, it's an experience. The CIE is a sales tool that provides customers with a hands-on environment, and the opportunity to play an active role in high-level business scenarios that focus on integrated, functional, and out-of-the-box features. Financial Services. Created a POC application for streamlining usability of users uploading documents and auto-tagging using managed metadata. The POC was built in SharePoint 2013, using the App model.
Media Services. Worked with product team and stakeholders to integrate proprietary product into SharePoint 2010 to create a new offering and market space. Designed product to optimize user experience and server performance while handling large video and audio files. From September 2012 to Present (3 years 4 months) Co-Founder @ The Boston Office 365 User Group is a community focused on sharing knowledge around Microsoft's Office 365's ever-growing, always changing suite of technologies. The group will focus on every level of interest, from those who are just "kicking the tires" to business users, Office 365 administrators and IT pros.
