ABIPP in portrait photography for well over twenty years must get round to applying for my Fellowship . I was the first photographer in Ireland to be awarded a Kodak European Gold Award and later judged on these awards for several years. In 2000 i was a partner and director in the company which owned and ran the portrait Co. Venture which arguably changed the portrait industry in not only the UK but also internationally . Currently retired but may start a lifestyle specialist photographic business and also open to mentoring and photographic consultation .I believe i owned the first portrait studio in the UK to have a turnover in excess of £1M and in 2007 the Venture studio under my then ownership turned £2.7million the top turnover in the franchise .
I am a keen angler both in the UK and abroad . One of the first European anglers to catch and release all nine billfish species , caught and released over 1000 Billfish tagging over 750 and winning a few tournaments in Africa , the Carribean and Indian Ocean . I have captained an international team to win the Hemingway Cup in Cuba which is the world's oldest tournament . I am also a keen fly fisherman in both salt and fresh water and have traveled worldwide in doing so ! I owned and fished my Grady White DALRIADA in Cabo San Lucas Mexico for a number of years .
