This was followed with an off-shore team to provide development utilizing Agile development methods. The application was bond management. From January 2010 to January 2011 (1 year 1 month) Hartford, Connecticut AreaConsultant @ Architect/Lead on next-generation P&C claims handling system using distributed technologies. System deployment includes 2500 users. The system was an n-tier architecture based on the Windows DNA platform, i.e. COM/DCOM, MTS, and MSMQ. Although not using current SOA standards, the server systems were deployed as services using and XML based interface. All server code was completely reentrant to handle the multiple asynchronous requests. Object storage was a streamed format and ETL technology was utilized to create a reporting database. All levels of design used OO methodologies. Server components and client brokers were developed in C++ using ATL, Rogue Wave, Oracle PL/SQL and OCI. User interface code was in VB. From 1996 to 2000 (4 years)
