David is an Atlanta native who is fortunate enough to have worked with many great companies, clients, and the best mentors throughout his young career as a Startup Marketer.
During his last semester of college, he interned at NanoLumens under the tutelage of Josh Byrd. NanoLumens is an amazing Atlanta tech startup that provides digital LED signage that can come in nearly any shape and size (even flexible displays)!
After completing the internship, he graduated in May of 2012 with a BBA and began his professional career with iFusion Marketing and their founder, Jacqui Chew, who is a pillar in the Atlanta Tech Startup scene.
In April of 2013, he accepted a position working with John Souza and Social Media Marketing University (SMMU) as their Social Media Manager, Email Marketer, Copywriter and Editor.
After successfully helping plan and execute Social Media Day Atlanta 2014, he moved on to his next opportunity helping launch and build Creative Loot Inc. from the ground up.
In March of 2015, David joined SalesLoft as an Inbound Marketing Specialist to assist the startup's vision under Kyle Porter to become Atlanta's next 1 billion dollar unicorn startup.
In his personal life, he loves spending his time with friends, family, and with new people from all walks of life. His passions include reading, writing, music, athletics, the Atlanta Braves and Falcons, and all things related to technology.

Inbound Marketing Specialist @ SalesLoft is the application of record for sales development.
As an Inbound Marketing Rainmaker, my goal is to create and distribute valuable content about the sales development process to our audience and generate inbound leads for our team. From March 2015 to Present (10 months) Greater Atlanta AreaVP, Product Marketing @ Helped build, launch, and grow the company from the ground up through marketing, sales, and media relations. From April 2014 to April 2015 (1 year 1 month) Social Media Strategist, Email Marketer, Editor @ Social Media Marketing University (SMMU) provides online marketing/social media training, certification courses, and done-for-you services.
I managed the main internal accounts for SMMU with a focus primarily on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn, SlideShare, and Pinterest.
Using the "70/20/10 Rule", my aim was to provide thought leadership in our industry, build trust by engaging with the community, and to promote our business as an industry resource.
For services that were outsourced to us, I acted as a consultant and content curator to our clients.
I also served as the primary email marketer, copywriter, and editor for our business.
