Primarily, I led the interactive team that included an interactive creative director, and five Flash/HTML/PHP programmers. As digital was new to Ayzenberg, I designed wireframes and UX flows for each interactive project at the agency. My role grew from designing wireframes to developing creative concepts for the majority of websites we developed.
We built digital marketing campaigns for Mattel, Vtech, Trion, Bethesda Softworks, Capcom, THQ and Warner Bros. To develop new business, I pitched creative concepts to clients including websites, Facebook apps, and custom YouTube pages. From December 2009 to August 2010 (9 months) Greater Los Angeles AreaDirector - Digital Marketing @ MEN7 was an online destination site focused on providing television content to affluent men. I was brought on to launch the site. To do this I designed wireframes, contracted a development partner, and hired a team of writers to develop the weekly content.
The channel launched with seven weekly shows distributed to 30 outlets via broadcast, mobile, IPTV and broadband including Hulu, Veoh, Vuze, Sprint, Verizon Mobile, Comcast and AskMen.com. As part of the offering I developed custom video players in Flash for Patron, Heineken and AskMen.com. Working with thePlatform CMS, I developed an automated production, encoding and distribution process for MEN7 video content. From November 2007 to October 2009 (2 years) Greater Los Angeles AreaOwner/Designer/Developer @ Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug for the first time, but not the last, I started my own company building websites and producing DVDs. Initially I did all design, HTML and CSS. I designed and coded small e-commerce sites for Liberty Multimedia, Lerner Online, and TalentClick.
Once the business grew, I brought in two designers and two developers and we built digital marketing websites for Universal Music, Activision, Polygram, Warner Bros. Our most exciting project was an online ad review system built for Anonymous Content. The system was an early SaaS with streaming video, and a custom database. From April 1999 to June 2005 (6 years 3 months) Greater Los Angeles AreaDigital Producer @ USWEB was my first exposure to the web. I was hired to produce websites for USWEB LA, the eighth office to join USWEB. My role was to work with clients to understand their business and then to develop proposals for building a web site that would help their business grow.
