Members include leading edge chip manufacturers (Intel, IBM, Globalfoundries, Samsung and TSMC), supply chain companies and a partnership with Univ. of Albany’s CNSE which includes NY government funding. Responsibilities included growing revenue and securing funding, improving member satisfaction, and executing programs across a diverse network of stakeholders. From September 2009 to March 2014 (4 years 7 months) CEO, promoted to Chairman in Sept 12 @ PVMC is a new industry consortium funded by DOE and NY/FL governments lead by a partnership between SEMATECH and CNSE to improve manufacturing costs for the Solar Photovoltaic industry. Key initiatives included recruiting member companies, establishing a technology roadmap, building and ramping a manufacturing scale user facility, and conducting programs prioritized by the member companies. From September 2011 to September 2012 (1 year 1 month) VP, 300mm Semiconductor Manufacturing @ IBM develops semiconductor technology with alliance partners and manufacturers chips for internal systems and a diverse customer set. Position is responsible for the operations of IBM's premier semiconductor facility.
