Who provide Apps for both SMEs and large corporate clients. In my role as Business Development Manager I was responsible for sales of online business solutions to SMEs and large Corporates. During my time with the company I had overall responsibility for the day to day management of the company. This included maintaining long term relationships with key suppliers and clients, as well as streamlining and improving existing processes within the company. This involved managing a workforce of around 90 members of staff including of field operatives, team managers, supply chain staff and administration staff. Change Management - identified early on that the existing business labour model was costly and ineffective. To address this a major change in the business model was implemented, substantially enhancing the profit margin for the business. Business Development - Introduction of a new business stream including Multi-dwelling Units (MDUs) installations and the establishment & management of a team of over 25 employees to support this new business unit. Introduced mobile field technology - helped oversee the launch of new CRM/MFT (Mobile Field Technology) system which entailed: - System specification and costing - Consideration of any integration issues with existing Sage Accounting or client software - Interaction with software developer to ensure specification was met - Management of project plan and timelines and co-ordination of switchover with client - Identification of compatible hardware & validation of reliable supply chain - Testing of software & phased roll out of system - Subsequent identification and development of customised enhanced system features KPI Management - responsible for the design and introduction of a system of internal KPI’s for field staff. This entailed setting up league tables to measure and compare performance and specifying individual KPIs that could be linked to the company’s overall goals. From February 2006 to January 2010 (4 years) Pensions Analyst - Graduate Scheme @ Once I graduated from Strathclyde University I joined Mercer HR 's graduate scheme as a Pensions Analyst within the Actuarial Division. This involved screening data for anomalies and then carrying out valuations of the data provided by clients. From February 2005 to February 2006 (1 year 1 month) Business Development @ During a work placement as part of my undergraduate degree I worked in BSkyB's business development team. I was involved in a number of projects both independently and as part of a team. This gave me the opportunity to contribute ideas and to see how proposals and recommendations are translated into real systems & procedures within a large company environment.
