Using a pragmatic approach, the position is responsible for defining the EA, and Information Security processes, EA and Infosec team development, as well as leading the effective integration of these processes with other related business and IT processes.Responsibilities include:• Develop, mentor, and lead Enterprise Architects, and Information Security team members.• Deliver the EA standards and ensure projects and efforts are aligned to it.• Enforce EA and Information Security policy through governance and auditing.• Determine the current state of our information, processes, solutions and technology.• Design the future state of our information, processes, solutions and technology and draft plans for implementing it.• Participate in the examination, creation and modification of business and IT strategies and trends.• Manage EA standards, models, principles and guidelines so that they are: Jointly established, Incorporated into the Program/Project Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle, and followed by IT staff and projects From March 2013 to January 2015 (1 year 11 months) Sacramento, California AreaDirector Operations and Support @ Raleys This position directs the strategic and tactical operations of Raley’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and application support services. Position is responsible for a team of 30-45 employees with 4-5 direct reports. Duties include directing operations of large systems (mainframe and midrange), UNIX servers, Windows servers, and Virtual infrastructure in addition to client services, and voice/data telecommunications. This position also oversees the management of level 1 and level 2 support staff and trouble reporting processes for all technology systems.• Oversees a 24 hour a day data center operations groups, which supports all back-office and retail systems, data, and reporting processes required by Raley’s functional departments.• Develop and maintain a Disaster Recovery plan, backup and offsite storage management.• Develop and manage all IT service level agreements for all functional departments within the organization.• Oversees technology procurement for both I.S. infrastructure needs and operating divisions, including store-level.• Manage budgets and financial performance for both capital expenditures and expenses• Provide complete performance measurements on all critical systems• Develop and manage operating standards and practices to maintain strong efficiencies in all technology support areas (including PC standards, network standards, system and application management standards)• Directs infrastructure and application release management processes and activities.• Directs the continual strategic review of new technologies that would provide increased performance, efficiencies, or financial return in all Raley’s information technology areas.
