My name is Cliona (pronounced as Cleena) and I have just moved back to LinkedIn Dublin from being in LinkedIn London for the last 2.5 years. I love fast-paced environments, am a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player known to always have a smile on my face. My Role:
I am responsible for the corporate acquisition and customer marketing activities in the UK and Ireland. Last year we won a mark of excellence for the best development of an existing conference overseas at the Conference Awards and this year we won an event for the best Conference Series! I will be focusing on events in the UK and Ireland, developing content.
I will also be the EMEA lead for our Flagship Conference, Talent Connect London. This is the largest corporate recruiting event in EMEA. My role will be focused on the content and experience for the two day conference. We are hoping to have 1000 attendees.

These are LinkedIn owned events which have 2-3 events in the day with 80 - 200 people per session. In 2012, I ran 53 events across 30 cities. My role involves working with the different Sales leaders and teams in EMEA, working with the marketing operations team and go to market managers and traveling weekly.
I also:
- Organise the merchandise for the different teams in EMEA
- Manage the localisation process in EMEA

During my marketing internship with LinkedIn, I reported into Kimberly Darling. I am proud to say that I was the first marketing intern in EMEA.
I am thoroughly enjoying it and love that no day is the same. I was involved in coordinating Talent Connect London 2011, LinkedIn's first largest conference in Europe, with the team. My marketing experience is growing rapidly every day since joining LinkedIn and I am motivated to learn as much as I can.
Since joining LinkedIn I have joined the tag rugby team, the Sports and Social committee and toastmasters.
During the 7 months of my internship, I:
