At 7 years old, in 1992, I remember booting up a computer for the first time. It was a surplus computer a family member acquired from her job. I was determined to figure out how this "computer thing" worked.
It was a year later that my father plugged that computer into the Internet, which only fueled my obsession with technology. I became more obsessed and passionate about the Internet, connectivity and computing.
In 1995, I was spending hours in chat rooms learning how to code. I made my first website in 1996, at the age of 11, with a friend of mine.
Since then, I have worked in a variety of industries and filled many roles - sales, marketing, and biomedical engineering. But these are all expressions of my true passion: using computers and technology to engage with amazing people and improve lives.
