In his current position, Christopher Murphy is a professor of oncology and tumor biology.Christopher Murphy is known for his work in methods for finding and fighting cancer. He has developed methods for using chemotherapy as well as treatments that work on whether or not cancer is present at all. In 2006, he received the European Disease Marker Award from the European Society for Cancer Research.
