Chris received a prestigious Kauffman/NCGE Fellowship to investigate the commercial implications of his research through which he received training at Harvard Business School and worked with Cisco Systems in San Jose, US. Subsequently Chris attended Judge Business School’s Ignite Programme (Cambridge University) funded by the East of England Development Agency. He is an internationally published author, an associate lecture at Anglia Ruskin University’s Design and Technology Department and has over 5 years experience working as a network consultant.
CEO & Founder @ Audio Analytic is the emerging leader in sound recognition and categorisation based in Cambridge (UK); Our software is used by a host of world leading security equipment manufactures to detect when someone becomes aggressive or when a glass window is broken while trying to gain entry to a building as well as many other applications. From August 2010 to Present (5 years 5 months) Associate lecturer and researcher @ Held a part-time associate lecture position during my PhD studies where I designed, lead and taught 12 week modules to undergraduates on Advanced Web Design, Internet Music and Mobile Internet Design. I also delivered undergraduate lectures as part of the Ashcroft International Business School in Statistics and Mathematics. From January 2004 to Present (12 years) Kauffman Fellow @ 1 of 16 students to be part of a entrepreneurial scholarship programme hosted by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation (a leading US centre that works to advance entrepreneurship). The programme was for just 16 individuals who have been selected from the best of England and Northern Ireland's engineering, scientific and technology degree and post doctorate students. The fellowship included visits to US universities, including Harvard and Stanford and a range of courses structured to enable high technology graduates to understand how to commercialise their ideas.
