Chinwe has served as an advisor to corporations, governments, financial institutions, foundations, and non-profits in the U.S. and abroad. Leveraging her strategy and operations work with global management consultancies and investment firms, McKinsey & Company, The Monitor Group (acquired by Deloitte), and the Pritzker Realty Group as well as her strong finance experience to help enterprises design and implement strategies that build on their strengths, lead to improved business results, and create "great" jobs.
In addition to her work in advising high performing employers at GPTW, Chinwe has raised over $120 million in financing for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and helped business owners and operators embed financial health principles into their operations and growth strategies to ensure ongoing access to quality financing, resilience to economic cycles, and long term sustainability. Chinwe has worked with thousands of SMEs as founder of FundWell, a pioneering financial services technology firm, and also as founder of the economic development consultancy, O-H Community Partners.
Chinwe is passionate about helping SMEs grow and access capital in order to improve the quality of life in communities. She serves on the boards of several mission lending and investment organizations, which have invested over a $1 Billion in SMEs that create quality jobs in communities, including Advantage Capital Partners, PNC Bank NMTC, Craft3, and REDF.

In addition to helping executives build high-performance teams, she is skilled at developing workplace systems that monitor and share progress, reveal leading indicators, and measure results. Analytical and insightful, she is passionate about partnering with leadership to identify areas where strategic culture investments can produce the greatest impact.
Her experience working with diverse stakeholders, combined with her talent for financial engineering, have enabled her to help companies of all sizes and industries implement high-impact and cost-effective solutions that not only address issues, but make the most of opportunities. Chinwe offers deep experience across a broad array of industries, including financial services, real estate, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, food and agriculture, retail, philanthropy, government, and technology.
She holds an A.B. in Economics and East Asian Studies from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, and is a graduate of the highly regarded Henry Crown Fellowship Program (HCF). As a Henry Crown Fellow, Chinwe is one of just 20 entrepreneurial leaders, selected annually from around the world, to participate in HCF’s community and global leadership development program held at the Aspen Institute in Aspen, CO.
An advocate for small and medium businesses inside and outside the workplace, Chinwe serves on several boards of investment organizations, and relishes the opportunity to help leaders in these companies access capital, grow their business, and contribute to the wellbeing of their communities. She also enjoys writing, hiking, and exploring new cultures, both at home and abroad. From October 2015 to Present (3 months) San Francisco Bay AreaCo-Founder & CEO @ Developed a web-based small balance lending platform to provide speed and efficiency in the prequalification and packaging of loan products for both business borrowers and commercial credit providers. By providing borrowers with a highly intuitive user interface, the FundWell Platform utilized smart, matching algorithms to identify the optimal credit solution for a borrower based on specific measures of financial health. For credit providers, it served as an outsourced lending-as-a-service (LaaS) technology solution designed to reduce the time required to acquire and decision business credit as well as to increase their loan volume and productivity. :
Had over 300+ lenders including bank and alternative lenders in its national network, supported 13 different commercial financing products, and achieved an 80% loan approval rate (2.5X industry average). Co-authored and released a seminal report on small business financial health, in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and San Francisco as well as Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business. From January 2013 to July 2015 (2 years 7 months) San Francisco Bay AreaCo-Founder & CEO @ Provided strategic planning, business planning, project management, financial management, and capital raising consulting services to small and medium businesses and social enterprises on behalf of corporations, banks, philanthropic entities, government agencies, and industry/trade associations. Researched and developed a set of recommendations for the City of Chicago on how to expand and strengthen the Chicagoland regions manufacturing base with a focus on financing, technical assistance, and workforce training strategies.
