•Assumed an interim management role responsible for a large operational staff and $600M in receivable across all healthcare payers.
•Staff Management -selected and hired an exceptional staff. Provided comprehensive professional development and succession planning to ensure reaching challenging operational goals.
•Lead several initiatives necessary for transformational change. Dignity Health & UnitedHealth Group entered into a joint venture creating Optum360. Integration of processes and technology from both organizations into one Best Practice efficient System-wide operation has been the main focus.
•Worked on large scale process improvement projects for multiple areas. Used Data & Process flow mapping, along with other Lean Six Sigma tools to identify root cause variance, eliminate duplication, rework waste, and duplicative efforts. Mapped future state process to eliminate factors above.
•Reengineered front and back-end revenue cycle operations for 21 hospitals with focus on individual accountability, productivity measurement, continued education, and change management.
•Developed dashboards to be presented to Executive leadership weekly.
•Spearheaded multiple projects, leveraging technology and business partnerships to implement best practices and strategic process improvements.
•Transitioned multiple hospitals from current host system to MS4 software, and oversaw training of revenue cycle staff.
