After launching an ISP in 1996 & a web services consulting company in 2000, I began working in the cloud computing field in 2005, where I helped take to market one of the first virtualized, utility compute offerings; a precursor to cloud services that became the foundation of Terremark's cloud, & later powered Verizon’s cloud. I helped launch the cloud practice & Enterprise Architecture program at Capgemini, along with one of the first major service integrator partnerships with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2009. I built & led the Capgemini Cloud Center of Excellence to enable cloud solutions based on AWS Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2). I also served as the North America lead to build Capgemini’s first private cloud offering in 2010. In 2011, I helped CenturyLink develop their cloud reseller program. I now lead cloud strategy, transformation, solutions & services for Hitachi.
