• Problem-solver with demonstrated ability to define, analyze, design, develop, and implement innovative solutions independently and in team environments. From August 2013 to July 2015 (2 years) Washington D.C. Metro AreaEngineering Co-op @ Supported Ballistic Missile Defense Mission Planner capabilities. Spearheaded efforts to gather stakeholder feedback on the current user interfaces and use this input to redesign and launch new user interfaces. These interfaces were included in the new Mission Planner baseline. Conducted Monte Carlo simulations on missile trajectory patterns and used these results to complete an accuracy study of Mission Planner. From May 2012 to August 2012 (4 months) Engineering Co-op @ Conducted value chain analysis for internal investment in algae as a biofuel source by meeting with potential partner companies, performing market research, and collaborating with other alternative energy source LM New Venture teams. From May 2011 to August 2011 (4 months) Engineering Co-op @ Developed electrical and mechanical design specifications for a Navy submarine. Assisted with wiring designs, creating a master part specification library, and proofing technical drawings in Pro-Engineer. Performed an expenditure analysis of the submarine electrical engineering team to modify tasking and funding allocation for the next phase of submarine development. From May 2010 to August 2010 (4 months) Washington D.C. Metro AreaEngineering Co-op @ Designed biofouling mitigation schemes through research, thermodynamic calculations, and modeling for the Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) team. These schemes were implemented in the Florida and Hawaii testing facilities. Designed biofouling treatment protocols for a heat exchanger at both the micro-fouling and macro-fouling level, which increased heat exchanger efficiency by over 10%. Researched and submitted material coating concepts to be considered for larger scale OTEC plants. From May 2009 to August 2009 (4 months) Washington D.C. Metro AreaScience & Engineering Apprenticeship Program @ Conducted research on the strength testing of polymers through spectral editing in solid state NMR spectroscopy. Discovered new methods of spectral editing and analyzed the structure dynamics of polymers. Won an honorable mention in the NRL science fair. From June 2008 to August 2008 (3 months) Washington D.C. Metro Area
