My work encompasses rogue website litigation strategy and support and overall client service and engagement throughout the partnership with MarkMonitor. From 2013 to March 2016 (3 years) Brand Protection Analyst @ MarkMonitor As a Brand Protection Analyst at MarkMonitor, I am responsible for the day to day account management for high profile clients. Time is spent reviewing websites, social media, paid search, and online marketplaces for potential Intellectual Property infringement. Analysts send out enforcement notices and work diligently to help clients work through a complex business problem. As a main point of contact for clients, analysts work to be highly responsive while also being innovative to implement efficient workflow practices as we oftentimes have the greatest insight as to the brands we service. Analysts work to provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting highlighting the changing landscape and scope of the business problem. From 2011 to 2013 (2 years) Client Solutions Specialist @ MarkMonitor In the capacity of Solutions Specialist, I have the unique opportunity to leverage data and draw insights to craft custom solutions for IP owners in a variety of industries. These insights and solutions are then presented in partnership with sales representatives to individuals in varying levels of an organization, including c-suite executives. I also directly manage key accounts to ensure success objectives are being met by our global Client Services Organization. From July 2019 to January 2020 (7 months) Program Manager, Brand Protection @ MarkMonitor The role of Brand Protection Program Manager included the responsibility to lead a global team hyper-focused on consumer-centric strategies to effectively combat IP abuse online. In this capacity, I was able to work with cross-functional teams internally to drive new initiatives to meet and exceed customer needs. I was in charge of defining effective global team structure and implementing project management strategies including the adoption of Agile throughout the MarkMonitor organization. This work, and the immediate success realized, resulted in the creation and launch of a new role (current position) within the commercial unit to further scale the outputs derived from role achievements. From March 2016 to July 2019 (3 years 5 months) Boise, IdahoTrademark Licensing and Enforcement Assistant @ Boise State University In this role, I had the opportunity to be mentored by the Director of Licensing and Enforcement for the University as well as assist her in daily job duties. I was exposed to the world of collegiate licensing and directly reviewed and approved artwork consistent with the University Brand Standards. This department was still budding at the time and so I had a direct hand in helping to create a Crafter's License Program which enabled members of the fan community to learn about brand protection and promote and sell their trademarked items legitimately.
