Bring brings over fifteen years experience as a senior leader specializing in the games industry, the development of early-stage businesses and web-meets-world services. He is a member of the founding executive team at E-Line Media, helping to lead the company from its inception to become one of the world's leading independent impact game developers and publishers.
He currently serves as Executive Vice President of Product Management for the company's consumer games division. Prior to this, he served as General Manager of the company's Gamestar Mechanic franchise, which empowers youth to explore their passion for designing and making video games.
Before joining the E-Line Team, Brian spent several years with Verus Partners, a private equity advisory firm, where he specialized in the development of custom technology platforms integrating electronic and real-world workflows. His projects included Lason, a multi-national outsourcing company that delivers service through over 70 independently owned micro-franchises in India and China (employing over 10,000 people). Prior to this, he served in several technology and operational rolls (including divisional Vice President of Operations) at Concentra, a national healthcare services provider with over $1B in revenue.
His work as a writer and digital filmmaker has appeared at such venues as the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and at Yankee Stadium during the MLB playoffs. He also mentors young people in the areas of game design, digital media writing and production and serves as an advisor to early-stage and youth-created businesses. Brian received his Bachelor's degree in English from The College of New Jersey.

* Lead product management efforts for Never Alone (www.neveralonegame.com). Created in partnership with the Iñupiaq people of Alaska, the game launched to critical and popular acclaim in November 2014. It is now available on 6 platforms; has landed on over 70 critical 'Best of' lists and received numerous awards, including the BAFTA for 'Best Debut Game' and the 2015 Games For Change Awards for 'Most Significant Impact' and 'Game of the Year'.
* Responsible for market analysis, product strategy, business model development, metrics and marketing/distribution strategy for a slate of impact-oriented consumer video games across web, mobile and console platforms. From January 2015 to Present (1 year) Greater New York City AreaExecutive Vice President - General Manager, Gamestar Mechanic & Pathways Programs @ * Oversaw product strategy, creative development/design, learning services, metrics, business analysis and sales/marketing for Gamestar Mechanic (www.gamestarmechanic.com), an online game and community designed to teach kids how to make their own videogames.
* Developed and executed a grassroots educational and consumer channel sales and marketing strategy from product launch that has resulted in the product being used in over 7,000 schools and educational programs by over a million youth whose games that have been played over 15 million times.
* Successfully launched Gamestar Mechanic Jr. (pbskids.org/gamestarmechanicjr), aimed at younger audiences, securing a partnership with PBS Kids as part of their first virtual world, Kart Kingdom, in April 2015.
* Launched the National STEM Video Game Challenge (www.stemchallenge.org) – a youth game design competition originally announced at the White House by President Obama – in partnership with the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop.
* Lead publishing efforts for E-Line Media's collaboration with MinecraftEdu (www.minecraftedu.com), an officially authorized educational edition of Minecraft developed by TeacherGaming in use in over 3,000 schools worldwide. From May 2008 to January 2015 (6 years 9 months) Greater New York City AreaOwner @ * Lead analysis, design and development efforts for all aspects of a major software redesign for a large, international business process outsourcing firm. These efforts enabled the client’s first economical on-shore data capture model for healthcare claims.
* Provided expert consulting services in the areas of executive reporting and analytics; business process design, automation, and improvement; project management and software design and development. From August 2005 to October 2008 (3 years 3 months) AVP-Operations, Auto Injury Solutions Division @ * Oversaw all day-to-day operations for a 400-person business unit of a national healthcare and insurance services firm, comprising 5 locations throughout the country.
* Presided over the business unit’s transition from a negative earnings picture to its first year of positive earnings results. During my tenure, the division also experienced consistent double-digit topline revenue growth and signed long term contract extensions with the two largest customers serviced by the entire $1 billion + parent company.
