I am a physics phd just graduated. In the past 5 years my research included simulation and data analysis of dark matter detection. I am looking for jobs in industry such like quantitative analyst/C++ developer. I like maths, and I like using maths to solve real-world problems. Research Assistant, Department of Physics @ MiniCLEAN Project (One of the world’s most sensitive dark matter detector)  This experiment is designed to detect dark matter by studying photon emissions resulting from the interaction of liquid argon and dark matter. Collaborate with 50 team members from 14 universities and institutions of higher education.  Simulated billions of various alpha-decay events and created the simulation program based upon GEANT4  Applied likelihood-method based on photoelectrons timing distribution to distinguish surface alpha background from dark matter events; effectively eliminated 99.9% background noise.  Improved algorithm of particle position reconstruction. BetaCage Project  The beta cage is a proposed multi-wire proportional chamber that will be the most sensitive device available to screen low-energy betas emitted at very low rates.  Single-handedly created of BetaCage geometry model and the simulation program based upon GEANT4.  Developed an algorithm to reconstruct the track of an electron in 3-D based on the signal observed by the detector.  Obtained a variety of background radiation levels from the Monte-Carlo simulation of billions of particles.  Developed a variety of routines based on particle tracking characteristics and track reconstruction, significantly distinguished and eliminated 99.999% of background events.
